Former MiLB Coach Matoko Noudehou Joins the Coaching Staff
The Dallas Jackals are happy to announce Matoko Noudehou is joining as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Noudehou has many years of professional experience to aid the Jackals in the 2022 Inaugural Season.
Most recently, Noudehou worked in Minor League Baseball in the New York Mets organization as Reconditioning Performance Coach working with players in rehab. Noudehou also was Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Vassar College in 2020. Here, Noudehou created and implemented programs that improved performance in all 27 athletic teams.
Noudehou said, “I am truly excited to be joining The Pack. The Jackals have an incredible opportunity to build an organization that challenges the status quo of sports performance, and I’m honored to contribute to this endeavor.“
Noudehou earned his BS in Philosophy with a Certificate in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and his Masters in Philosophy in Sport and Exercise at Auckland University of Technology in the Summer of 2021. While at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Noudehou played rugby winning the Big Ten Championship and the 2015 USA Rugby College National 7s Championship.
“Matoko really stood out as having a holistic approach, an understanding of the demands of the game and a desire to work as part of a collaborative team,” said Elaine Vassie, Jackals GM. “His understanding and experience within other sports in addition to rugby, as well as the landscape and experiences of the American athlete, really add value in us developing domestic talent.”
