2021 MLR Collegiate Draft Class
ROUND 1 PICK 1 –
ERIC NAPOSKI
Originally from Monroe, CT, Eric, 22 years old, attended UCLA earning an Economics degree. Prior to playing in college, he was named High School All-American. Eric was selected for the USA Falcon’s 7s Uruguay and Chile tours and attended several USA 7’s World Series HP camps. Eric was a 4 year starter in 7s and 15s at UCLA and was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team. He was invited multiple times to Collegiate All-American 15s camp and was on the Collegiate All-American 7s 1st Team.
During his college years, he also was selected and competed for Ramblin Jesters 7s several times including Rugby Town and the UK Super Series Championship. Eric also played for Old Blue Rugby 7s.
Eric went on to be a starter for the World Tens Series’ Rhinos and a part of the World Tens Series Dream Team ultimately joining and starting on the MLR’s LA Academy side.
Outside rugby, Eric likes to spend time with his friends and family and playing all sports recreationally. He has 3 younger sisters and 3 dogs. He says we loves the beach, warm weather, traveling, and experiencing new things!

ROUND 1 PICK 10 – DeCor Davis
Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a very small town outside of Pittsburgh, DeCor, 23, spent the first half of his life in West Philadelphia. He then moved to Northern Virginia, just outside of DC, where his rugby career started in 6th grade at Warrenton Wolfpack Youth Rugby.
Once in high school, he played several sports in high school including rugby, basketball, football, wrestling, lacrosse and track. DeCor was one of the first members of the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy and after suffering an ankle injury that took playing collegiate football off the table, he chose to focus on rugby and wrestling in which he qualified to regionals. He was named Virginia rugby All-Star starter from ‘12-’16 going undefeated 3 of 4 years.Before his senior year of HS, he moved to play for Prince William Youth RC winning the 7s State Championship in ‘17.
DeCor attended Coastal Carolina University earning the first rugby scholarship in school history. He chose to transfer to Queens University of Charlotte to challenge himself academically and on the pitch. His team at Queens won the D2 National Championship in 2018.
He says his greatest achievement is graduating college because that was his late grandfather’s only wish. From his time at Virginia State Regional Governor’s School for Visual and Performing Arts his junior year of HS, DeCor is also a very skilled singer and plays piano.

ROUND 2 PICK 14 – AARON GRAY
Growing up, Aaron’s favorite sport to play was baseball until moving back to Washington DC where he discovered rugby in 10th grade. He notes that he fell in love with the game and never looked back.
Aaron, 24, went on to attend Kutztown University in PA earning a Sports Management degree. Here he was named D1A East ‘18-’19 Back of the Year. Aaron was also named to the First Team All-Conference twice and Second Team All-Conference in ‘17-’18. He was selected to join the USA U20 All-American side and the USA Men’s 7s Falcons and was named USA Collegiate All-American.
Aaron has also played for Beltway Elite 7s Men’s, Rocky Gorge Rugby, Denver Barbarians RFC, Schuylkill River Rugby.
Aaron says his favorite food is sushi and also enjoys bowling (he was on his Middle School bowling team). He enjoys spending time with his family and friends in his free time.

ROUND 2 PICK 23 – ALEJANDRO TORRES
Originally from Tucuman, Argentina, Alejandro, 21 years old, has played rugby since the age of 5. He went on to be selected for the Argentina U20 side and attend and play at Universitario Rugby Club de Tucuman. Here he and his team won the Regional Championship.
In 2019, Alejandro played for the South American select side against Uruguay. Next, he signed with the professional side Olimpia Lions who play in Superliga Americana de Rugby, which is a top-level rugby league.
Currently, he is attending Thomas More University earning his MBA.

ROUND 3 PICK 27 – CALVIN GENTRY
Calvin is from Memphis, TN where he attended Power Center Academy High School. Growing up in a tough part of town, Calvin credits rugby for saving his life.
As part of Memphis Inner City Rugby, he was named captain and two-time MVP. Calvin was selected to compete with the Tennessee All-Star Tri-Stars 15s team three times and went on to compete in Las Vegas with the Tri-Stars 7s squad in ‘15. Calvin was selected for the USA South U19 side ‘14-’16 and was named MVP of the squad. He was named to the Junior All-American U19 team and 7s Atavus side.
He attended Arkansas State University where he was named to the Collegiate All-American team. Before transferring to University of Memphis, Calvin played with Tiger Rugby 7s in 2018. At Memphis, he was picked for the ‘19 Collegiate All-American side.
Calvin went on to play for Memphis Tigers Rugby Club and was named MVP. In 2019, Calvin travelled to London on invitation from the Harlequins Rugby Foundation to train for a day and speak at a charity event.
