Nate Gutierrez Joins Front Office as Director of Operations
The Dallas Jackals are excited to announce Nate Gutierrez has joined the Front Office as Director of Operations. Gutierrez brings a wide variety of DFW sports industry experience to the team.
A Texas native, Gutierrez attended The University of Texas – San Antonio graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Tourism Management. During his undergraduate, he had the opportunity to play baseball collegiately. He also worked with both the college and local sports organizations which was the foundation for turning a passion into a career.
Following graduation, Nate moved to Dallas joining the Texas AirHogs, a professional minor league baseball team playing out of Grand Prairie, Texas. After three years working for the team, Gutierrez was promoted to General Manager, where he oversaw the day to day operations and helped facilitate a historic partnership with the Chinese National Baseball Team.
“I am excited to be joining the Jackals in the inaugural season and look forward to working with the experienced leadership of the team and league,” said Gutierrez. “This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up and I believe the DFW community will really enjoy what we have to offer on and off the field.”
Jackals President Scott Sonju said, “Nate has proven himself capable, loyal, and committed. We are delighted to have him join our team.”
Gutierrez resides in North Texas with his wife Cierra and cat Penny. In his free time, he enjoys attending events, golfing, video games, podcasts and hanging out with family.
We are happy to welcome Nate Gutierrez and his wife to the pack!
