UCLA Alum and #1 Draft Pick Eric Naposki Officially Joins
The Dallas Jackals are happy announce recent draftee Eric Naposki has officially signed. The wing/fullback is a UCLA alum and was drafted #1 overall by the Jackals in the 2021 MLR Collegiate Draft.
Originally from Monroe, CT, Naposki, 22 years old, attended UCLA earning an Economics degree. Prior to playing in college, he was named High School All-American.
Naposki was selected for the USA Falcon’s 7s Uruguay and Chile tours and attended several USA 7’s World Series HP camps. He was a 4 year starter in 7s and 15s at UCLA and was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team. Naposki was invited multiple times to Collegiate All-American 15s camp and was on the Collegiate All-American 7s 1st Team.
During his college years, Naposki also was selected and competed for Ramblin Jesters 7s several times including Rugby Town and the UK Super Series Championship. Naposki also played for Old Blue Rugby 7s.
Naposki went on to be a starter for the World Tens Series’ Rhinos and a part of the World Tens Series Dream Team ultimately joining and starting on the MLR’s LA Academy side.
Recently, Naposki was selected for the USA Men’s Select side in the America’s Pacific Challenge in Montevideo, Uruguay where he started against Chile A.
Outside rugby, Naposki likes to spend time with his friends and family and playing all sports recreationally. He has 3 younger sisters and 3 dogs and says we loves the beach, warm weather, traveling, and experiencing new things!
