A couple Jackals made history on Sunday night.
Gomez Vara scored the first of try of the 2023 season. Adriaan Booysen recorded his first try of the season against his former club. The Namibian back-row played with the Houston SaberCats in 2021 and 2020.
The Jackals powered the offense in the second half, generating 12 points after being blanked in the first half. The final score was 33-12 in favor of Houston.
Next Up: Dallas travels to Zions Bank Stadium for their round two match against the Utah Warriors. Game is Saturday afternoon. Game time is at 3:00 p.m CT.
