Bronson Teles

Bronson grew up in Richmond, TX, a suburb West of Houston. With a family history of his dad playing rugby in South Africa, Bronson began playing rugby at nine years old at Katy Barbarians Youth Rugby Club. He attended Foster High School where he played football. He continued to play rugby for the Katy Barbarians earning All-State honors, High School All-American and an USA Under-20 selection.

Bronson went to the University of Arizona where he majored in Economics. In 2017, as a freshman on the rugby team, he was selected as a Marke Loane Medal Recipient which allowed him to attend the UQ Rugby Academy at University of Queensland Rugby Club in Australia. As the team captain in 2020, he was selected PAC-12 Conference Co-Player of the Year and was a nominee for the Rudy Scholz Award for national player of the year.

Bronson is a three-time USA U20 from 2016-2018, a three-time USA U18 from 2014-2016, and made the 2nd Team Collegiate All-American in 2019. He also is a three-time 1st Team All PAC-12 Conference from 2018-2020 and 2nd Team All PAC-12 Conference in 2017.
