James Malcolm

James began playing rugby at 9 years old at Hutcheson’s Grammar School in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland. While playing in school, he joined Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians (GHA) RFC. James was also representing Scotland on the U17, U18, and U20 level. In 2013, James joined the Ayr Rugby Football Club in the Scottish Premiership. This led to James securing a spot an Elite Development Program spot with the Glasgow Warriors, a professional rugby program in Scotland.

He attended and graduated from University of Strathclyde with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Strathclyde, James was part of the Elite Athlete program. He signed a professional contract with Glasgow Warriors. During his time with the Warriors, James was selected to represent Scotland for the 2017 Six Nations Championship. James continued his career to the RFC Championship playing for Doncaster and most recently London Scottish. 

James says, “I’m excited to help build a strong team to really challenge the rest of the league. The team Coach Allen and Coach Elaine have assembled is very skilled and I can’t wait to work with them all.”
