Wian Conradie

Wian was born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia in a family with a rich history in rugby. He has represented his country on the Namibia Academy team at the U18 Craven week, U19 Confederation of African Rugby tournament (CAR) in 2012, U19 Junior Rugby World Cup in 2013 and U20 Junior World Rugby Trophy in 2013.

Wian went to University of Johannesburg in South Africa where he was elected to play in the FNB Varsity Cup tournament, which is a competition featuring eight South African universities. He graduated with a degree in B-tech Quantity Surveying.

He also has represented Namibia in the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and 2019, World Rugby Nations Cup 2016 and 2017, Africa Gold Cup 2017 in Winghoek, Namibia where he assisted Namibia to win gold. North-West University (NWU) in South Africa contracted Wian to represent them in the FNB Varsity Cup and the 2019 Nations Cup. Next, he signed with the Doncaster Knights in the United Kingdom. Wian says, “playing in the US has been an everlasting dream.”
