DEFENSE ON DISPLAY IN NEW ENGLAND
A rainy, slippery pitch fielded the Jackals’ 10-9 loss on their road trip out east against the New England Free Jacks. The Jackals trailed by four points heading into halftime after a successful penalty kick concluded the first 40 minutes.
Sheer defense dominated the second half. Converting quickly on another penalty kick, Dallas scored to get within one phase of leading the game.
A try line stand by the Free Jacks forced a offensive error in the dying minute and sealed the Jackals’ loss.
NEXT GAME: Jackals host the Toronto Arrows on Sat, Apr. 1 on College and Alumni Night presented by Coca-Cola at Choctaw Stadium. Game begins at 7:05 p.m. CT.
