Jackals Lose in Heated Contest
The Dallas Jackals lost 15-10 on home turf against NOLA Gold on Saturday evening at Choctaw Stadium.
With temperatures above 90 degrees, the weather wasn’t the only thing heated. Dallas and NOLA brought physicality, resulting in a couple shoving scrums following whistles.
The Jackals got on the board first with a successful penalty goal from Ale Torres.  Jackals fans jumped off their seats in excitement as the ball whistled between the posts,
The Gold took the lead in response.
The scoreline showed 15-3 in favor of the visitors after 40 minutes.
The Jackals pushed back in the second half. Tomy Baravalle rammed the ball in  the try zone with the help of a Dallas maul late in the half and Torres added the conversion to trim the deficit to five points.
Dallas held the ball in last possession trailing by five points, but an untimely turnover quickly shifted the game into NOLA’s hands.
