Kurt Werner Joins in Trade with Seattle
Dallas Jackals are excited to announce Scrumhalf Kurtis Werner joins Dallas on trade from Seattle for salary cap considerations.
From Centennial, Colorado, Werner attended Arapahoe High School and represented Rugby Colorado. He continued his education and rugby career at Springfield, MA attending American International College (ACI) on a rugby scholarship graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing Management.
Werner than traveled to Christchurch, New Zealand to play for Marist Albion and Belfast RC while completing his Master’s Degree.
In 2019, Werner joined the 404 Pathway, Rugby ATL’s Academy, leading to gaining an MLR contract with Rugby ATL for the 2020 season. Werner made the move to the Seattle Seawolves in 2022.
