Grand Prairie Player Darrick Marik Joins as Development Player
The Dallas Jackals are happy to announce local Grand Prairie Mavericks players Darrick Marik has joined has Development Player.
From Seattle, Washington, Marik started playing rugby while stationed with the Air Force in Germany. He competed with HoneyBadger RFC in 2019 when the side won the league championship.
Marik briefly trained and competed in Sevens tournaments with Bury St. Edmunds RUFC out of England. He joined local D1 Affiliate Grand Prairie Mavericks in 2021 and has competed with the club since.
Marik attended Community College of the Air Force earning an A.A.S in Information Technology.
