DALLAS, TX (October 13, 2020) – Major League Rugby (MLR) and Dallas Jackals announce initiative to raise funds during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. MLR understands one of the toughest real-life fights is the daily battle millions of North Americans face against cancer. During the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, nine of thirteen MLR teams will promote and sell special edition pink apparel available at shopMLR.com. A portion of all proceeds from the special edition Breast Cancer Awareness apparel will be donated to the American Cancer Society and the Canadian Cancer Society.

“As a league we are proud that many of our teams are activating during Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said MLR Commissioner George Killebrew. “We appreciate The Rugby Shop for providing this specially designed – and pink – merchandise for this initiative. We know this is one program that will continue to grow.”
