“We are excited to host our second collegiate draft and see a new influx of talent come into Major League Rugby from the United States and Canada,” said George Killebrew, MLR Commissioner. “We want to continue supporting the college rugby landscape as well as provide a pathway for US and Canadian collegiate players. Our sport has gained a lot of momentum, completing an amazing season with playoff spots coming down to the final weeks of regular season play. Every league strives for parity, and we feel this year’s draft will provide quality players to teams throughout the league.”
